Radio Controlled is the title of the BBC Radio 3 Sunday Feature, which is to be broadcast on Feb 11th at 6.45 PM. Robert Worby tells the fascinating story of how post-war West German radio, and modern music, was conscripted to win the cultural cold war, often juggling political, economic and cultural forces outside of their control. If this sounds like your sort of thing, tune in on Sunday evening to Radio 3 and you will also hear a little bit from that bloke in Doncaster who messes about with radios making his Radio 3 debut. There are more details on the BBC R3 website, the programme will be available via the BBC iplayer after broadcast.
Last September I was live on the Chris Evans breakfast show on Radio 2, as the not so mystery guest, and now I have a contribution to a Radio 3 documentary to add to my list. What next I wonder? Media offers welcome! Meanwhile, time for something completely different. Or maybe not.
